The cherry colour and price attracted me to buying the Silver Shadows. Never had a pair in the time they have been made. They are very comfortable, probably one of the most comfortable I've ever worn. I like retro trainers and the cherry and blue colours are more appealing to me than the original silver colour.

Excellent trainers. Two slight (and I’m being picky) things I’d like modified. 1. The heels are not reflective like the original Silver Shadows… that’s the biggest thing I’d change for safety reasons. 2. The laces could be 4 inches longer as I think someone in the manufacturing process skimped on that. They’re ok but could be longer.
Still like too see them in back Yellow / Gold

Wore these as a kid in the 80's, glad to see there is a little more tread on the heels, it was the first part of the sole to wear through
People see them. Especially the girls / women. So thats a win. In apoearance a purposfull running shoe.
Very comfortable and good quality.
I used these years ago as the hi tech squash was too narrow for my G width feet. At that time they were only in silver but if I remember correctly came in half sizes and I had 9.5. These in size 9 were initially little tight but overnight use of shoe trees sorted that out in 2 days. I have always been a size 9 for length but needed G fitting and these new ones make this achievable
I bought size 11 on 2 items the same size apparently one fits perfectly and are great but the silver shadows feel like at least 1 if not 2 sizes down. I would be more than happy to buy them again if the size was representative. The returns policy and postage is also really bad and not simple or easy you need better instructions.

As a young guy many many years ago, I joined the British Army Commandos. Used to train and train so much running, cross country and road work. Started using Silvershadow and could not believe the comfort and quality. Also in days gone by, Silvershadows were very cheap. To me this brand ( Hi-Tech) outshines all of the other named sports brands. They have never let me down, even today at 71 I’m still using these trainers.
Bought these based on nostalgia and because I've always wanted to buy a pair of Silver Shadows. However when I saw the cherry colour, I had to make the purchase.
Classic design. An institution in the UK. Had my last pair 30+ years ago when I was in primary school but back then it was the Hi-Tops.
