Hi Tec Freedoms have a classic look but with a very good modern flair. I purchased these trainers as they were the closest to a pair of Hi-Tec Wimbledon's I had over thirty years ago. Sadly, Hi-Tec have never reissued those trainers but these trainers are very good. The first thing is the comfort, they are fantastic. They feel strong and sturdy but are not heavy on your feet. My one disappointment is that they are not leather, but PVC.
However, the PVC fabric did slightly come away from the rubber, I don’t know how, maybe they got knocked; but I glued them back with Trainer Glue and they gave held fine since.
They have a very individual look. Many other trainers like these look the same, either Reebok, Nike or Adidas, all have a very similar design, but these with the thick front lip look very distinct.
I will buy again. But it is a shame they are not leather.

Wonderful trainers as always from Hi-Tec. They have brought me sentimental joy, as Hi-tec were the first make of trainers that I ever purchased, with my very first working wage.

They not a pair .rightshoe excellent. Left shoe does not match the right one in quality of manufacture. The sole and uppers do not marry properly on the left shoe making it un comfortable when laced. Lacing up distorts the shoe so the sole does not sit correctly on the ground
