Currently breaking into the boots - the tongue on the left boot seems to be digging in to my foot. the right boot is completely fine. The sole is grippy and the shoes inspire a lot of confidence when out on the trial. Not as breathable as leather (but I suppose this is to be expected) .

A good sturdy and comfy boot at first didn’t survive 10 Munros and the SWCP plus weekends in Peak District - the R toe box just separated then the sole 2 years on making the boot unusable so it’s now in the refuse department’s custody in Plymouth where they were replaced at a popular outdoor shop. Shame- they were good while they lasted..
